Stone Carving Weekend

The weekend masterclass will focus on the Green Man. Although history and folklore can give us very few clues as to the origins of the Green Man, the earliest datings of this extraordinary figure can be traced back to the 2nd Century BC.

The masterclass weekend will begin on Friday evening with drinks and dinner, followed by informal discussions and planning. Tuition begins at 9:30 on Saturday following a hearty Dorset breakfast.

After a light lunch you'll resume work until 4:30 when you'll have time to relax, explore and reflect on a day's learning before drinks and dinner.

Sunday will follow the same course with the day ending at 4:30 when you'll have your hard earned 'architectural antique' of the famous Green Man to showcase in your own home.

Accommodation

All accommodation, meals and equipment are included in the weekend. Accommodation comprises a choice of 2 double bedrooms, 2 singles and a self-contained holiday cottage which comprises one twin bedded room and a single bed in the lounge.
